Alchemist's Lab - Slot Machine Review
by Casino Manager on March 3, 2010
Firstly, for those who don't know what an Alchemist is - and I have to admit that I didn't have a clue before Google enlightened me - it is a:
"…scientist in the Middle Ages who tried to discover how to change ordinary metals into gold."
Nice name for a slot machine then, as this is exactly what we're trying to do; turn a measly quid (or three) into something a little more valuable. The minimum bet for this slot is £1 per spin, though to have a chance of winning the jackpot a player must bet the maximum, which is £3. This jackpot is a whopping £10,000!

This slot is all about the spell-books and the lucky gold coins.
A single gold coin is the lowest payout point and hitting it will double your initial stake. Two gold coins will return odds of 25/1 and the jackpot can be won with three gold coins. Hitting the coveted 3 gold coins on a single £1 spin will credit you with £3,000 and hitting it on a £2 spin will see you £6,000 better-off. If you're a big action player however, the best payout is with a three coins on a £3 spin, which pays out a guaranteed £10,000 - a 33.3% better payout than £1 or £2 spins.
Hitting a treble on one of the various colours of laboratory test-tubes or conical flasks will see you win big, as will a winning line of gold three rings. Three spell-books, however, will take you through to the bonus round.

If you are lucky enough to hit the bonus round, you'll have to choose 3 different chemicals. These are then mixed in a cauldron to create a magic potion. If you've selected the right chemicals, your potion will transform into gold and you'll win the bonus - you are the alchemist!
The jackpot's not been won yet, but this slot machine has paid out over £11,000 in the 6 days since it was released, so jump in early and see if you can be the lucky first!
